OH. MY. GOODNESS. You know that moment when you swear you did something… only to get an email proving you absolutely did not? Yeah. That’s me right now, hence why this email is fashionably (okay, embarrassingly) late. Plus all the technology issues I am facing and my youngest is out of town in Baltimore.
But listen, it’s not because life’s been quiet over here. Quite the opposite - it’s been wild! And honestly, it’s exactly why I’m so dang grateful for Eazy Peazy Kitchen. This wasn’t just a fun little “maybe I’ll start a business” moment. Nope. It was born out of desperation - blown grocery budgets, wasted produce, too many drive-thru nights, and a side of mom guilt. I was over it.
So I built what I couldn’t find, and now I’m obsessed with hearing your wins every week. You’re saving time, eating clean, and actually enjoying dinner again (without the chaos or the takeout tabs). It’s a full-on win-win-win, and I couldn’t be more proud of us all. #boomshakalaka

Keeping it short and sweet — this week’s highlight reel:
I catered a bridal shower featuring an amazing Bloody Mary bar. We’re talking full-on build-your-own magic- bacon sticks, chicken wings, all the fixings. Honestly, it was brunch dreams come true.Even had sammies to go along with it.

BK JV Football had yet another game and a W-I-N at Ridgeview. Yes, I made the pregame meal...50 ginormous burritos stuffed with rice, beans, ground beef and salsa. I love serving these young men and giving them great nutrition. (no picture of course - dangit!) Plus it was a MAD-CRAZY-DASH to get these handed out before the kiddos loaded the bus and were on their way.
I catered a wedding up in beautiful McCall - pulled pork sliders, homemade Italian meatballs and sauce, fresh fruit trays, and coleslaw… all the deliciousness adding the perfect touch to an already stunning Fall day at Tamarack. You could practically taste the love in the air. (Although, remind me to tell you sometime about my strong feelings toward people who don’t watch college football. Let’s just say I had a full-blown case of football Tourette’s - Arn kept me together - because these people found solice in watcing climbing movies when Vanderbilt and Duke were playing...on the TV. Are you kidding me people - it's F O O T B A L L Season!)
Then, in true real-life fashion, it was a mad dash home after the “I do’s” ya know, HUGE medical emergency (I mean, why not?) and, of course, it just so happened to be HOCO (homecoming) night too. Because when it rains, it pours - usually with all the glitter and chaos combined into one since the Allemand's have no clue on how the definition of calm works.

And then came Homecoming - oh, what a night! Both boys looked so dang handsome, and their dates were absolutely stunning. It was one of those nights that just fills your mama heart right up. So much laughter, so many memories made, and I couldn’t be prouder of the young men they’re becoming.
And I love love love their friends - some I have known since they were in kindergarten.

Next up, date night with my main man! Our annual walk down Harrison Blvd to gawk (and I mean really gawk) at all the epic Halloween decorations. 🎃 It’s our little tradition, just the two of us, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s not always easy to carve out that time (pun intended), but it’s oh-so necessary.

SEE YOU MONDAY - OCTOBER 27TH!!
You know that moment when it’s 6:00 p.m., everyone’s asking what’s for dinner, and you’re staring into the fridge like it’s going to suddenly present a five-star meal? You had the best intentions—fresh groceries, a plan (sort of), and maybe even a recipe saved on your phone—but life… life had other plans. Practice ran late. Work ran long. Homework turned dramatic. And suddenly it’s cereal, quesadillas, or “let’s just grab something” night. Again.
You laugh it off, because what else can you do? But inside, there’s that little voice whispering that you should be able to do it all. You should have it together. Only… you’re exhausted.
That’s exactly where Eazy Peazy was born—from that chaos, that guilt, that nightly juggle that makes you question your sanity. Real life doesn’t stop for dinner, so why should dinner stop you from living? I created this for you—the mom doing her best, the woman trying to keep it all together, and the human who deserves a break.
Dinner doesn’t have to be another thing that makes you feel behind. It can be the thing that gives you a breath.
Cheers, Nikki
